Big news for Peterborough! The New York Times has included the Trent-Severn Waterway in its list of top 52 Places to Visit in 2025, and some of Peterborough's most well-loved activities and attractions are in the spotlight.

If you've visited Peterborough, chances are you've had a chance to stop in at the Canadian Canoe Museum, immersed yourself in a dynamic paddling culture (you may have even seen someone portaging a canoe through downtown), or enjoyed tasty local pints and pastries.
