Two Distinct Farmers’ Markets Taking Place Year Round

Peterborough & District Farmers’ Market

151 Lansdowne Street West | Saturdays, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Peterborough Farmers' Market is one of the oldest markets in Ontario, and is an excellent source for fresh, local produce and goods. Taking place year round, from May to October, the market takes place outdoors, while in the winter months it moves indoors to the heated Morrow Building. This lively and diverse market inspires relationships between farmers, entrepreneurs and the community.

Peterborough Regional Farmers' Market

Peterborough Square | Wednesdays & Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Buy directly from farmers who grow, raise, harvest, and forage. This year-round market takes place indoors in the winter season to the Peterborough Square. Here, people access to Peterborough’s finest prepared food vendors, artisans and musicians. 60% of vendors at the market are primary producers. In the summer, the market moves outdoors to the Quaker Foods City Square.
